This company in one of Australia's most innovative and client-centred creative agencies for property with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and Adelaide.
They're looking for a Freelance Mid-to-Senior Graphic Designer with a passion for branding, marketing and creating beautiful campaigns. You'll be someone who is able to take your work from brand concepts all the way through to finished art if necessary, and you'll have skilled in typography, mapping and iconography.
What impressed me the most in talking with this client is their genuine desire to create an environment that people want to work in. There are many places that talk about 'perks' however this company truly offer a position that people will want to work in, and this is reflected in the fact that this company rarely has anyone ever leave. It is important that there is a culture people want to come to, that is inspiring, supportive, and capable of having a laugh while you work.
This is a Media company that has been doing both branding and campaign for a while, although this role can certainly help to lift that branding aspect to a whole new level.
Their internal creative team is still fairly new but already winning a stack of awards, and with more clients coming on board, they're growing at a rapid pace and need great creative talent to join them as soon as possible.
You'll have experience working with the property branding and marketing space, and have come from a studio or agency background where you've been able to fine tune your skills.
You're someone who is capable of working proactively on the fly, a team player who loves to collaborate and contribute to ideas, and you pride yourself on your attention to detail that delivers quality work time and time again.
You'll be able to manage your time and have a flexible attitude; anyone who has come from a studio or agency background knows that there is inevitably going to be those jobs that come in tight, and you'll be proactive in ensuring that work is achieved.
As a natural collaborator, you'll know how to work with stakeholders to ensure that you're taking on their feedback and revisions, and working across the various internal teams (such as video and film) to produce consistent work that captures attention. You'll also be good at presenting and articulating your conceptual ideas within their diverse creative, video, technology and business teams or directly with the clients.
Design is your passion and as a result, you love to keep up to date with trends, best practice, latest software, and share ideas with your team mates. Software wise, you'll be across the key Adobe Creative Suite packages (ideally Adobe XD in there too!) along with a knowledge of Figma. The ability to retouch some photography would be an advantage too.
Having said that, if you have any animation skills, or experience with Frame.io, Salesforce or Mailchimp (or even a willingness to learn), then this is absolutely going to be an advantage for you too.
In short, if you have an appetite and eagerness to continue to learn and grow, this is a position that can offer you that opportunity.
This position is going to be based onsite in their new South Melbourne offices that promises to be next level (pun intended).
Please note, this opportunity has the potential to go from temporary to permanent for the right person, although the freelance requirement is their key focus at this point in time!
If this sounds like an opportunity that is PERFECT for you, then please send through your up-to-date CV and folio that showcases your property work to Lawrence on lawrence@creativerecruiers.com.au OR by clicking on the apply button below.
Please note that, as much as we would like to, we can only get back to those that are shortlisted for the position. Please note that this is an onsite requirement, and that you need to have Australian working rights to be suitable for this opportunity. Please do not apply if you are based outside of Australia.
