Our client is an Australian retail powerhouse known for its fashion, clothing, and stationary brands.
They're currently on the search for a Digital Producer / Junior Developer to join their digital production team.
Your primary role is to develop and maintain digital marketing content across my client's websites and apps spanning Australia, South-East Asia, the US and Brazil. This includes developing the home pages, brand pages, and interactive components of the website and app to design briefs, using modern web frameworks.
Additionally, you and the team will oversee the production and scheduling of eDM content and promotions, which are distributed to databases of millions of customers.
This is a temporary role spanning 2 to 3 months, and you will be based in Geelong. You will be required to come onsite for the first couple of weeks but once you get the hang of things, you’ll be able to work in a hybrid set up (2 days WFH).
You'll ideally have come from a retailer doing similar work, perhaps as a Digital Producer and growing your developer skills.
To be successful in this role, I'm looking for the following attributes in your CV:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience in creating assets and templates and turning them into digital format for eDMs
Experience in the retail/fashion industry is a plus however showing that understanding of the retail environment and requirements is essential.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Implementing digital content optimised for responsive screens
Develop web components to enhance customer-facing touch-points
Maintain library of web components using HTML, CSS, and JS for swift deployment
Complete unit and end-to-end testing
Conduct market research to identify opportunities to improve front-end development and deployment
