Do you have an interest in the massive projects currently being undertaken in our Public Transport system?
If so, we are seeking a skilled Wayfinding Strategist to collaborate with an established team to creative intuitive and efficient navigation solutions, enhancing user journeys within complex environments.
This project will run until the end of January 2025 until June 2025 and ideally you’ll be available 3-5 days per week and be able to attend on-site in Melbourne as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pedestrian Flow Analysis: Utilise your expertise to meticulously document and analyse pedestrian flows within diverse spaces, ensuring seamless movement and reducing congestion.
- Decision Point Identification: Identify critical decision points within environments and develop strategic guidance to simplify choices, improving user satisfaction and overall navigation effectiveness.
- Information Hierarchy Dissection: Employ your keen eye for detail to dissect complex information hierarchies, organising and presenting data in a way that empowers users to make informed decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in documenting pedestrian flows, interpreting crowd movement data, and implementing optimisations.
- Familiarity with decision science principles and the ability to apply them to wayfinding strategies.
- Proficiency in dissecting complex information hierarchies and translating them into user-friendly formats.
